Load History Viewer
The Load History Viewer Lightning Web Component (LWC) is located on the System tab of the Load page layout, but may be placed anywhere on the Load page layout. The LWC displays the field history for all records related to that Load and displays the information in a list. Any changes to the fields listed below appears in the LWC as an audit trail. Filter the history by object type and date range.
Field History Tracking must be enabled for the appropriate fields.
The objects included in the Load History Viewer LWC include:
Carrier Quote - Accepted quote for the load
Carrier Quote Accessorial
Claim
Container
Customer Quote - Accepted quote for the load
Customer Quote Accessorial
Customer Quote Tax
Line Item
Load
Load Accessorial
Stop
Field history tracking must be enabled for fields to be available in the LWC. Configure objects by following the steps below.
Navigate to Setup → Object Manager → enter and select the appropriate object.
From the Details tab, if Track Field History is not Checked, click Edit to set this field.
Click Save.
From the Fields & Relationships tab, click Set History Tracking.
Select up to 20 fields. Fields that cannot tracked:
Formula, roll-up summary, or auto-number fields.
Created By and Last Modified By fields.
Fields that have the AI Prediction checkbox selected.
Click Save.
Salesforce tracks history from the date and time forward. Changes made prior to this date and time are not included.
The Load History Viewer supports the Salesforce Approval Process feature and displays Lock/Unlock in the history.
The LWC allows filtering the history by object type, as well as by date range.
