Configure and create Modes as necessary from TMS Admin → Modes.
Setup
Access the list of supported modes from the TMS Admin → Modes link. The TMS currently supports ten packaged modes. Uncheck the Enabled field for each Mode that is not necessary for business needs.

The Customer Portal Selection field indicates if the mode is available on the self-serve Customer Portal.
Mode-specific online Carrier Application documents for upload are configured from each Mode Lightning Record Page. Make sure this is completed for each enabled Mode if using the online Carrier Application.
Add values to this picklist to include required documents that are uploaded as part of the online Carrier Application.
Loads and Truck Postings may be created automatically with Artimusâ„¢ AI. Check the AI Enabled box to create Load and/or Truck Postings for the selected Mode types.
Create New Modes
When creating new Mode types, they should be added as an option to the Global Picklist.
From Setup, search and select Picklist Value Sets.
Click the Modes link.
Select New.
Enter the Mode name. Click Save.

When the new Mode is added to this Global picklist, review the Accessorials list in TMS Admin → Accessorials. Ensure that any accessorials related to the new Mode are configured accordingly. The Mode must exist in the Accessorial record multi-select picklist to be an option when configuring Loads.

From TMS Admin, Equipment Types, add the new Mode to all Equipment Types as needed.
