To populate the “Timezone” field on the Accounts, it is recommended that all Customers run the Fleet Management Job, even if they are do not utilize the Fleet Management product. This is because the first pass of the Fleet Management Job does an API callout to obtain time zones for all relevant Accounts. The “Fleet Management Enabled” checkbox on the TMS Admin 🡪 Configuration page can be left unchecked, and then running the Fleet Management Job will then only process the first pass of the job to retrieve time zones.

Release 7.8 Accounting Seed Integration Upgrade Instructions (ETC: 15 Minutes)
Accounting Seed customers must have BOTH the TMS and Accounting Seed Bridge packages before upgrading. Complete the TMS Upgrade installation before installing the Accounting Seed Bridge package.
Items in blue can be skipped if the feature is not being used. Structural changes in red should always be made.
- You must install and test in the sandbox before upgrading production.
- You must have installed Release 7.7 before installing this release.
- Obtain the 7.8 installation URL and password from your Revenova representative.
- Install the upgrade. Wait for the “installation succeeded” email.
- Review CRUD access to the fields in the TMS EPayment table (rtms__EPayment__c). Two new fields are added to this table that are part of the TMS AS package (rtms2__ePayment__c).
- If the client uses EPayments:
- Log into the client’s org in Subscriber mode.
- Get the name of the active EPayment credentials used by the client. It will be either EFS or Comdata.
- Go to the TMS Accounting Configuration custom setting and edit the record. Save the value from the “ePayment Bank Account” field (if any); you will restore this value in step e. below. Enter either “EFS” or “Comdata” in this field. Save the record.
- Go to the TMS Accounting Admin tab and click on the “Reset Reference Data” button. The upgrade job will move the existing EPayment records from the TMS AS ePayment table to the TMS EPayment table. Records converted to the TMS EPayment table will be deleted from the TMS AS ePayment table.
- Once you receive the email that the job completed then restore the value of the “ePayment Bank Account” field to what you saved in step c.
- Add these new picklist values:
- Per Cubic Foot
- Per Cubic Meter
- Per Gallon
- Per Liter
- Per Square Meter
- Per Equipment Type
- Per Stop
- Percent of Amount
- To these fields:
- Billing Line Unit
- Payable Line Unit
- Go to the TMS Accounting Admin tab and click on the “Reset Reference Data” button. The ASReleaseUpdateJob
will run and migrate all the EPayments from the rtms2__ePayment__c object to the rtms__EPayment__c object.
- Run all RTMS2 namespace unit tests to completion and investigate any failures.
