The Load Lock Manager Lightning Web Component (LWC) allows Load Locking Administrators to mass lock/unlock Loads or pass Loads to other internal users.

The LWC displays a list of all actively locked Loads in the TMS, with up to 20 Load records per page. Select the Refresh button to refresh the list.

Administrator Access

To access this LWC, the user must have the Load Locking Administrator field checked on their User page.

Otherwise, a message will appear in the LWC indicating that the page is only viewable by Load Locking Administrators.

Load Locks Filter

Filter the list by Load or Locked By (User) with the lookup fields. Select the Filter button to filter the list with additional fields. To hide the additional filter fields, select the Filter button again.

Note: The Ship Date and Delivery Date fields have the Last Week, This Week, or Next Week as options, not a specific date.

Load Lock Actions

The main actions a Load Locking Administrator can complete in this LWC include the following:

  • Unlock Loads,

  • Pass Load Locks, and

  • View Queue

Unlock Loads

Select the Unlock icon in the listed Load record to remove the lock and empty the lock queue. All unlocked Loads are removed from the list in the LWC.

Admins can also unlock and empty the queues for multiple Loads at once by selecting the Loads in the list and then selecting the Unlock button in the Load Lock Manager header.

Pass Lock

Select the Pass Lock icon in the listed Load record to pass the lock to another User. This action opens the Pass Lock modal.

Search for and select the User to whom you want to pass the Load Lock. The new User holding the Load Lock can hold it from the time the lock was passed until the Load Lock expires for that User.

Note: To change how long a User can hold a Load Lock, update the Load Locking Hold Time in the Load Locking section in TMS Admin → Configuration.

Admins can also pass locks for multiple Loads to a single User by selecting the Loads in the list, then selecting the Pass Lock button in the Load Lock Manager header. The selected Loads are listed in the Pass Lock modal.

If the Load Locking Administrator attempts to pass a Load Lock to a User and the total amount of Load Locks the User has exceeds the value in the Load Locking Max Count field in Setup → User, the Admin cannot pass the lock and is presented with an error message.

View Queue

Select the Queue icon in the listed Load record to view the queue of Users waiting for access to the Load. The Queue section, displayed below the Load Locks section, shows the User's name, the order they are waiting in, and the date and time they joined the queue.

If no other User is waiting for a Load Lock, the Queue icon in the list is greyed out.

Pass Lock to User in Queue

Select the Pass Lock icon in the listed User record to immediately pass the lock to another User in the queue. The active lock holder is indicated with the greyed-out Pass Lock icon.
