Carrier Transportation Profile Setup

Prev Next

Once the Carrier Transportation Profile has been created, complete the following setups if needed.

TMS Auto-Reject Carrier Flow Setup

Note: This setup only needs to be done once to use the TMS Auto-Reject Carrier flow for all Carrier Transportation Profiles.

The TMS Auto-Reject Carrier Template Flow replaces the no longer supported TMS Auto-Reject Carrier Workflow Rule.

Deactivate the Workflow Rule

If the TMS Auto-Reject Carrier Workflow Rule is available and active, deactivate the workflow rule by doing the following:

  1. Got to Setup → Workflow Rules.

  2. Find the TMS Auto-Reject Carrier Workflow Rule.

  3. Select the Deactivate button.

Create and Activate the Flow

The TMS packages this flow as a template.

Complete the following steps to create a new Flow from the TMS Auto-Reject Carrier Template:

  1. Go to Setup → Flows.

  2. Click on TMS Auto-Reject Carrier Template.

  3. In the Flow Builder, select the Save As New Flow button in the dropdown.

  4. Set the Flow Label as “TMS Auto-Reject Carrier” and the API Name as “TMS_Auto_Reject_Carrier”.

  5. Click Save, then Activate.

While the template can be activated, the recommendation is to create a new Flow based on the template and add additional rules as needed.

Note: Any additional rules or criteria added to the original Workflow Rule should be evaluated and added to the Flow, as desired.

Carrier (Ground) Transportation Profile Setup

For Ground Carriers, where the TMS generates the Bill of Lading document, additional information about the Carrier, such as the SCAC field, is populated from the Carrier Transportation Profile record.

Ensure the Carrier Account is associated with the Carrier Transportation Profile from the Account record.

Make sure the Account and Transportation Profile are connected from the Account details page and has the TMS Type of Carrier (Ground).
