Zone Detail
A zone is a collection of lanes of origin and destination locations.
There are eight zone types that can be selected from the picklist.
Zones are globally defined and are usable across all shippers and consignees.
Navigate to TMS Admin and select Zones.
The available selections are Country, State, City/State, Zip3, Zip5, Postal Code, Location, and Mixed. The Mixed zone type allows for more granular selection of locations to include or exclude.
The + buttons add additional selections for both the Included and Excluded Entry Type sections to further refine the Zone.
The fields available are dependent on the Zone Type selected.
Entries under Included or Excluded can be removed by clicking the X button to the right of the entry. When a zone is complete, click the Save button.
