LTL Pricing Workbench

The LTL Pricing Workbench is available as part of the RFP functionality. The LTL Pricing Workbench includes a configuration setting and two main components:

  • From the TMS Admin â†’ Configuration: Pricing Workbench Batch Size setting. The default value is 50. If API rate quotes are used, 50 should be the greatest value. If locally Stored Rates are used, 200 should be the greatest value.

  1. Load Upload: Use the predefined load template .CSV file to create the loads for the RFP and upload them into the TMS.

  2. Pricing Workbench: Generate a .CSV file based on filtering of the Carrier Quotes for the loads uploaded as shown on Load Upload.

Pricing Workbench

  1. From the RFP Banner LWC, click the Pricing Workbench button at the top right hand of the page.

  2. The Pricing Workbench page displays several entry fields that filters the Carrier quotes.

  3. Enter the appropriate filter choices and click the Go button.

  4. The Pricing Workbench starts a batch job to get Carrier Quotes from the configured LTL carriers in in the TMS.

  5. When the process completes, the user (that clicked Go) receives an email message. An export file is added in the Notes & Attachments subtab of the RFP detail record with the name entered in the Export File Name field of the Pricing Workbench page.

  6. Change the filters on the the Pricing Workbench at the top of the page. Click Go to create a new set of Carrier Quotes in a .CSV file.  

  7. Once finished generating Carrier Quotes for an RFP, all the Loads in the RFP can be deleted with the Delete Loads button.
