Overview

Global Commodity Catalogues

Commodity Catalogues in addition to the customer default Catalogue are available in the Enhanced Commodity Search modal. Check the Global checkbox field on the Commodity Catalogue to enable the catalogue.

  • The Global checkboxes are found by navigating to TMS Admin 🡪 Commodity Catalogues.

All global catalogues appear in the Commodity Catalogue select list at the top of the Enhanced Commodity Search LWC.

  1. The assigned default Commodity Catalogue is selected by default when assigned on the Customer Transportation Profile.

  2. Only users with a standard user license can see the drop-down select list. The select list does not appear in the Customer Portal.

  3. If no Commodity Catalogue is assigned and more than one global Catalogue exists, no Catalogue is selected by default. The user must select one.

  4. If no Commodity Catalogue is assigned and only one global catalogue exists, that global catalogue is selected by default.

  5. Only commodities belonging to the selected catalogue are shown in the search results. 

Any Commodity Catalogue added on the customer Transportation Profile is used over the Global Commodity Catalogue. To use the Global Commodity Catalogue, select it from the Commodity Catalogue picklist in the Enhanced Commodity Search.
