Customer Portal Threshold Parameters

  1. Three threshold parameters are available in the Portal section of the Customer Transportation Profile record.

    1. Portal Quote HU Count Threshold

    2. Portal Quote Weight Threshold

    3. Weight Units

      1. The Weight Units field is required to enforce weight threshold limits in the Customer Portal. If no value is entered in the Weight Units field, the Customer Portal is shown an error and is unable to generate quotes.

  2. When a threshold value is exceeded, the customer is not able to tender the Load from the Customer Portal. The Carrier quote list page is skipped and the user navigates to the Finalize Load Details page. A message displays at the top of the page as shown below.

  3. The default threshold message can be customized in the Customer Portal Configuration section of the TMS Admin → Configuration page.

    The use of the [Load ID] nomenclature: the TMS replaces the [Load ID] part of the message with the Load Number.


  4. An internal user must review and tender the Load.
