7.7 Release Notes
Convert from Attachments to Files
Files are now created/manipulated in the TMS instead of Attachments. This allows for larger uploads, file tagging, and better integration with the Lightning Experience. The File Viewer component will replace the Attachments list on any record detail page.
• Old Attachments are seamlessly dealt with so you can have a mixture of (old) Attachments and (new) Files.

Note: If you use Revenova for customer invoice presentment, go to the invoice detail page and generate an invoice. If it downloads instead of displaying in the browser go to Setup > File Upload and Download Security and set the PDF file type to Execute in Browser.
MyCarrierPackets
New integration to MyCarrierPackets (MCP) is available.
The CarrierMonitorMCPJob batch job runs continuously, it will:
- Synchronize the list of monitored carriers between the TMS and MCP when the “Carrier Monitor Last Run” preference is null (first time run) and every Sunday after that. Any carriers that are monitored in MCP but don’t exist in the TMS will be pulled into the TMS.
- Get the completed packets from MCP and create those carriers in the TMS
- Update the carriers in the TMS with the latest set of changes from MCP
a. This list is generated from the carrier Transportation Profiles where the Monitor Carrier field is checked.
Note: You will need to ensure only ONE credential card is Enabled for carrier monitoring. The TMS will only work with one of the following integrations: RMIS, SaferWatch, OR MyCarrierPackets (in that order based on the Enabled flag for each set of credentials). The Saferwatch and RMIS credentials must be disabled and the MyCarrierPackets credentials enabled for the TMS to use the MyCarrierPackets API.
In the MCP Credentials card, User Id and Password are required.
Integration Notes
- From TMS Admin > Configuration> review and set the following:
- Default Carrier Mode: The mode to use when auto-creating carriers from SaferWatch, RMIS or MyCarrierPackets when mode information is not available in the packet.
- Allow Carrier Address Updates: if checked, MyCarrierPackets can update carrier billing and shipping addresses
- Carrier Monitor Run Frequency (Mins): MyCarrierPackets only: how often the “net change” job runs to get new onboarding carriers or carriers that have updates.
- Carrier Monitor Last Run: Date/time when the job last ran.
- From TMS Admin > Modes > review the following:
- MCP Mode should be set on the 6 packaged modes: Air Freight, Drayage, Intermodal, LTL, Ocean FCL and Truckload
- Verify the Minimum Weight, Maximum Weight, and Weight Units fields are populated correctly for each Mode record.
- Initiate the CarrierMonitorMCPJob from TMS Admin > Batch Processes.
The TMS online carrier application is never used with MyCarrierPackets as onboarding of carriers occurs there.
TruckerTools Integration Enhancements
Load Posting
Post loads to the Trucker Tools Smart Capacity load board. Book It Now is also supported by the Trucker Tools load board.
• Load postings that have Book It Now checked will allow carriers approved in Trucker Tools to automatically create a carrier quote inside Revenova for the load based on the Offer Rate.

Truck Capacity
Trucker Tools is now an available source of truck postings when searching for carrier capacity on loads. Loads must be posted to the Trucker Tools load board to search capacity.
- Trucker Tools will only return in network carriers in Trucker Tools when returning trucks. o To add carriers to Trucker Tools either follow the directions in their portal or reach out to a Trucker Tool representative. When generating a CSV file of the carriers the external Id will be the carrier’s Account Id in Revenova.
- The searching user email inside Revenova must match the username in Trucker Tools.
Customer Invoice Document Enhancements
The Visualforce page has been replaced by a more efficient LWC component. Mode-specific document settings are now supported. By setting a mode-specific customer invoice document, you will override the type of document(s) required.
- From TMS Admin > Customer Invoice Documents
- On the Modes columnclick the Add (+) button
- Select one or more Modes for the Document Type
In this example, the Bill of Lading document is always required/included for LTL and Flatbed loads, but only required/included if present for all other Modes:

Freightwaves Integration- TRAC Spot view
The RateIQ Component and Web Service can now include FreightWaves TRAC (Trusted Rate Assessment Consortium) API data. FreightWaves TRAC calculates spot rate data by collecting data from contributors to provide daily load data by booking date based on near real-time rate information for thousands of unique loads. Rate data will be returned for the Van and Reefer categories.

- From TMS Admin > Credentials > enter User Id and Password in the global FreightWaves credentials card and check the Enable checkbox.
a. Disable this credentials card if not used.
- From Setup > Remote Site Settings > enable the FreightWaves site: https://api.freightwaves.com 3. From TMS Admin > RateIQ Calculations, add FreightWaves as a data source, as desired.

Freight Plan Console Enhancements
- Bulk-select, add or remove Customer Loads or Line Items from a Carrier Load.

- Line Item “flex” columns can now be saved with a Freight Plan Customer Load Filter.

- Sort by Carrier Load controls now sort by load name (instead of Load Id).
- Freight Plan Console sort behavior has been made more consistent between the load and line item view modes, and is no longer reset as carrier loads are configured.
Stored Rate Enhancements
- The Rate Entry Visualforce page has been replaced with a Lightning Web Component and Lightning Record Page and the Tariff Scheduletable has been merged into the Rate Entry table to allow for more-efficient entry and maintenance of tariff-based rate entries.
- The Category field has been added to easily differentiate Customer versus Carrier rate entries.
- Clone & Reverse Lane button speeds the creation of reverse Rate Entries.

- The LaneVisualforce page has been replaced with a Lightning Web Component and Lightning Record Page.
- The Origin and DestinationCity fields provide a lookup for accurate city name entry.

- The new Lane Match Option field allows matching to distinguish between intrastate and interstate rate entries. This is based on the loads Ship From City/State and Ship To City/State.
- Intrastate:Ship From City/State and Ship To City/State values are the same (i.e. origin and destination within state/province lines).
- Interstate:Ship From City/State and Ship To City/State values are different (i.e. origin and destination crossing state/province lines).
- The new Fleet Loads Only field allows matching to distinguish between fleet and non-fleet loads.

- For auto-quoting and the Carrier Engagement Automation, the new Rating Sourcefield on the Transportation Profile table allows you to enable or disable the customer TP to global TP ‘cascade’ when accessing rate entries for customer quotes.
- If set to Customer Rates Only, the TMS will not ‘cascade’ to the Global Transportation Profile when accessing stored/contract rates.
- Carrier Exclusionsfor purposes of stored rate retrieval can now be filtered by additional parameters: a. Carrier Service
- Lane
- Effective Date
- Expiration Date
- Carrier Exclusions can now be set on the global Transportation Profile (for all customers).
LTL SMC3 RateWare Tariff-Based Quoting for Customers
The SMC3 LTL tariff-based quoting API has been enabled for Customer-side pricing. “API” Type Rate Entries can now be entered for Customers, which allows for users to store tariff schedule and discount LTL pricing based on the numerous tariff schedules offered by SMC3. Stored Rate Customer quoting will function in the same way – when a user enters the Freight Quote Assistant, the system will attempt to find the highest priority Lane-match Rate Entry for the Load, which now includes this “API” Type. If the highest priority match is an SMC3 rate, the API callout is made, and the corresponding Customer Quote based on the API response data is auto generated.
Fleet Management Module Enhancements
- The Fleet Management Job can now be run one pass at a time for debugging purposes.
- Fleet Management module driver submitted documents are better associated with the corresponding load.
- When retrieving Samsara Driver Routes, the filter window has been extended two hours into the future so status can be returned for early activities on near-future routes.
Community/Site Enhancements
• The Load Map LWC component is now available for customer/carrier portals. o After you place the component on the page within the site Builder > in the component properties, {!recordId} must be entered correctly.

EDI Enhancements
- If arrival and departure fields on an EDI load’s stop are updated simultaneously, the EDI 214 transactions will be sent distinctly and in correct order.
- The linkage between matching Carrier Load Line Items and EDI Customer Load Line Items is now maintained when an Update EDI 204 is processed for EDI Customer Loads that have been added to Freight Plans.
- New Kleinschmidt URLs provide better performance for EDI processing.
- Pending Update EDI Console loads now support outbound 214 transactions.
- Our Cleo EDI integration now supports the outbound/carrier tender scenario.
Additional Enhancements
- The RFQ document is now reused during bulk RFQ emailing, resulting in up to 40x less file storage per load.
- The Queued Transaction Job is now up to 50% faster. HubTran outbound traffic can be offloaded to Platform Events.
o From TMS Admin > Configuration > check Use Platform Events if you need to improve the performance of the Queued Transaction Job. Talk to Revenova before doing this.
- For purposes of Customer Credit Management, the standard Revenova calculation of A/R Unbilled, A/R Current, A/R Past Due and Unapplied Cash/Credit Memos can be overridden by populating the new “Override AR Calculator Class” field on the TMS Admin > Configuration page with a custom Apex Class. (e.g., a custom web service call to an external API).
o If used, this must be reviewed by a Revenova technical representative to ensure proper functionality. This AR calculation is performed in multiple places at multiple times throughout the application, and it is imperative that a code review is completed by a Revenova technical representative to prevent issues.
- The EIA Fuel Index integration has been updated to the V2 API.
