Load Map

The Load Map Lightning Web Component (LWC) is located below the Load Detail LWC. It provides a map of the load route with stop locations and weather data. As tracking information is added to the load, the map updates with the latest location information.

The green flag is the first pickup location, and the red flag is the drop-off location.

The PC Miler integration supports Loads with the same Stop location used more than once. The Load Map component does not render the flags for Pickup and Delivery stops when the Pickup and Delivery locations are the same. They display as either a Pickup or as a Delivery location, not both.

A truck icon displays the last reported location as tracking information is received.

Information is provided below the map for the total distance and the route/distance API in use (PC Miler or Rand McNally). Routing information is either Practical (as shown in the screenshot above) or Shortest distance. The final piece of information displayed is whether international borders are Open or Closed. (Closed in the example provided above).

There are two buttons on the Load Map LWC for Open/Closed Borders, and Refresh. When the map is set to Borders Closed, PC Miler attempts to route the load within the load pickup nation. When set to Borders Open, international borders are ignored and the most practical route is selected.

The Borders Open/Closed feature is only supported by the PC Miler integration.

When set to Borders Open, shorter routes that may cross into other nations are available. Any changes to load or route information renders with the Refresh button.

Container Tracking Map

The Load Map LWC displays tracking information for containers, as well. For container-based Modes (Drayage, Intermodal, Ocean FCL/LCL), tracking information displays in the LWC.

A Container Tracking button is available when the geolocation data of latitude and longitude coordinates are provided for the Load.

Click the Container Map button to return to the standard load tracking map.
