Overview

Filtering

Filtering only applies to one Commodity Catalogue at a time. Note the Catalogue name at the top of the Enhanced Commodity Search LWC.

  • Filter on text fields by entering text. The filter applies with each entered character. Records with text that contain the filter value are displayed.

  • Enter numbers for numeric field matching. Filter are applied with each character. Only records that match exactly are displayed.

  • To filter on checkbox fields, click the checkbox to initiate the filter. The records with a checked value are displayed. To see records where the value is unchecked, click again to uncheck the filter.

  • When filtering on a field, a blue colored box surrounds the filter fields. The box includes a small Clear Filter button that deactivates the filter on that field.

  • Remove filters for text and numeric fields two ways:

    1. Clear all characters in the filter.

    2. Click on the Clear Filter button.

  • For checkbox fields, deactivate the filter by clicking the Clear Filter button.

  • Filters can be activated on multiple fields. Only commodities that match all active filters are shown in the search results.

  • The Is Active filter is used to filter based on the Commodity object Effective Date and Expiration Date fields. The Is Active filter is displayed if the Is Active field is included in the Commodity TMS2 field set. If the Is Active filter is displayed, the checkbox is checked by default and the filter is active when the Enhanced Commodity Search modal is opened.

    1. For a commodity to be considered active, the Pickup Date of the Load’s first stop must fall between the Effective Date and the Expiration Date of the Commodity.

      • Effective Date <= Pickup Date <= Expiration Date.

      • If the Effective Date is null, the Pickup Date is treated as greater.

      • If the Expiration Date is null, the Pickup Date is treated as less than.

  • The Match Density filter, unlike other checkbox filters, is not applied to a checkbox field on the Commodity. Instead, when this filter is checked, the Density value computed on the line item is compared to the Density Minimum and Density Maximum fields on the Commodity object.

    1. Match if Density Minimum <= Density < Density Maximum.

Sorting

Click on the header of any column to sort the table by that column.

  1. On the initial click, the records are sorted in ascending order.

  2. Click on the column header again to sort in descending order.

  3. All data columns are sortable.

The Commodity Quick Search and Enhanced Commodity Search LWCs Description column defaults to ‘Wrap Text.’

Large Global Catalogues

Catalogues containing more than 100 commodities only render the first 100 results. Scroll to the bottom of the search results to load additional rows of results. Applying a filter or sorting on columns clears the additional rows displayed as a result of scrolling.

Filters operate on the entire catalogue, not just the displayed rows.
