Customs Broker Support
TMS supports customs brokers for cross-border Loads. Customs Broker records are created from the related list on the Customer Transportation Profile.
Check the Default box and choose the Origin Country and Destination Country fields on the Customs Broker record to auto-assign the record to a newly created Load’s Customs Broker field. New Loads that match the Origin and Destination Country fields for the customer auto populate with the Customs Broker field on the Load.
Load fields contain the following cross-border information.
Entry Number
Clearance Number
Customs Broker
Accounts may be created and designated as Customs Brokers.
This information comes together on the Carrier Rate and Load Confirmation and Driver Load Confirmation documents.
