Rate Entries
Rate Entries provide the ability to apply stored/negotiated rates to loads automatically. They are highly customizable and can be created for Carriers or Customers. Rate Entries can be based on freight, fuel, or accessorial charges and may be used together.
Rate Entries are created and listed under TMS Admin → Rate Entries or from the Transportation Profile related list. See more information on creating Rate Entries here.
Rate entries may loaded into the TMS in bulk as an RFP. The RateEntryUploadJob processes the .CSV file and adds the entries.
Customer Rate Entry Logic: Global TP, Customer TP, then matching on the lane. If multiple lane matches, then matches based on priority (lowest number). If there is still a match, we pull the most recent (modified date) rate entry.
Rate entries always take precedence over markups.
