Fuel-Only Rate Entries

Rate Entries of type Fuel Only are applied when clicking the Save button in the Freight Quote Assistant for “spot” quotes with a pre-negotiated fuel surcharge:

  1. Customer Quotes are associated with a Fuel Surcharge via the Rate Entry lookup field that is populated on stored rate quote creation.

  2. Carrier Quotes are associated with a Fuel Surcharge via the Rate Entry lookup field that is populated on stored rate quote creation.

  3. Customer Invoices are associated with a Fuel Surcharge via the Customer Quote lookup field that is populated when an invoice is auto-generated.

  4. Vendor Invoices are associated with a Fuel Surcharge via the Carrier Quote lookup field that is populated when an invoice is auto-generated.
